Small communities have always faced an information hurtle. How do you reach local people? Can we combine information with local business advertising - so we can keep our jobs and money in the local economy longer? In Arlee Montana we created a website that shares local events. Like most small communities (636 people), what keeps people here is our love for our family and the area. The Arlee Montana live HD web camera allows us to share our daily lives with those who are near and far.
Arlee Montana, according to the 2010 census, has roughly 636 people. The Arlee Montana Facebook page has over 3,000 people. In addition to the web cam, images from the yearly July 4th Celebration are shared on the Arlee Montana web page and Facebook account. Over 6,000 people viewed content on the Facebook, which does not include the 400 people a day who visit the website. The backbone of the Arlee Montana network is their HD web cam. Pictures of home are always a welcome positive thought!
